Beautiful store, good variety of items available and usually always a great experience. The service can be great and then not so great. Some sale assistants can come across as a bit rude and disinterested. Luxury brands have that reputation when it comes to customer service however Hermes in Sydney is a little worse than say Chanel as an example.
My wife and I stopped by Hermès this afternoon to check out a few items — a grooming bag, Birkin 40 for men, and some sandals like the Oran. We were assisted by Emiko (a trainee sales associate), and honestly the experience wasn’t great. She felt very dismissive and not helpful. Whenever she showed us a product, she would quickly take it back and put it on the shelf before we even had a chance to look properly. Terrible service honestly. The bold head gentleman was so rude. Cant even touch a bag on display but can freely have uncovered drinks around the store. Make it make sense.
Everyone was so nice and friendly, especially Nicole who kindly explained everything to me, even on how to get the tax refund at the airport. Thank you once again for your kind service
