Don't Shop Any Where Else – I came on here to write a review based on many years of experience dealing with Herman Brothers and to my surprise I see two negative comments. I find both very hard to believe. I have purchased all of my furniture and appliances from Herman Brothers, including two tv's. I have been doing business with them for decades and have only had a few minor issues with appliances (through no fault of Herman Brothers). bad business practices – If anything you buy here doesn't work right, they will fix it, but to their own standards (not the customer's epectations of quality). The lemon I bought is now a "repaired" lemon. I could not afford the restocking fee. I won't shop here again. In Geneva, Lowe' has appliances and WalMart has TVs. Both have a 100% money-back guarantee if not completely satisfied (and no restocking fee)!
Rip-off (lemon) – I bought a plasma HDTV for $1300. It did not work so I returned it after 3 days. They charged me 25% "restocking fee" or $350 ! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERMAN BROTHERS UNLESS YOU'RE SURE IT WORKS. Not sure how you would test a washing machine or oven. I guess recliners are OK.
