Heritage woods in Flora IL is such a blessing I had my dad there up until he passed away earlier this year I couldn't have asked for more or for better care for my dad the staff is incredible they truly care a great deal for all the residents they serve. On numerous occasions I've witnessed the staff there going above and beyond for their residents they are present and involved with each person in their care it's beautiful to see and my dad told me he felt at home and he felt cared about. I couldn't ask for more!!!!
Heritage Woods of Flora is an excellent facility! Filled with wonderful and hard working management and staff. The cleanliness level tops every other assisted living I have ever seen. The workers here are beyond kind and loving toward all of the residents, the residents always seem so happy. They never hesitate to answer any questions asked and jump to any task given to them. Again, this is a wonderful facility and I am grateful to be a part of the community.
Way too much drama between the staff. Then people want to get onto the new guys because they aren't "participating" in training. More like your cnas are sleeping and on their phones the entire time. Nobody trains. They sleep. !!
There is favoritism among supervisors and certain shifts. Managers have their children working with them and favoriting them even though it is against the handbook. Communication is horrible. The nurses will complain about something the employees do then turn around and do the same thing. The nurses do play favoritism. The job itself is great but the management and workers make it almost unbearable. It’s the reason we are always short staffed. People do not stay long. Great personality with every worker I’ve talked to there. Always see them busy and working. A lot of great people and a wonderful place to be.
