My mother became a resident in long term care at Heritage Square 2 years ago and she absolutely loves it there! The manager is wonderful as are the office staff, nurses, recreation organizers and care aides. My mother has a lovely room with adjoining bathroom and the rooms at Heritage Square are much larger than at all the other residences in Vernon (and we checked every single one of them before deciding.) THIS HOME WAS GOOD AT ONE TIME HOWEVER IT NO LONGER IN MY OPINION IS FIT TO OPERATE. i HAVE SEEN RAT /MOUSE BOXES AROUND THE HOME ESPECIALLY IS THE ONE BY THE FRIDGE IN THE KITCHEN. THE RESIDENTS ARE NOW SLEEPING ON HARD GREEN PLASTIC COVERED FOAM WHICH IS SO HARD IT WOULD CRIPPLE ME. UNLESS THE FAMILY BUYS FOAM OR GEL COVERINGS THERE IS NOT EVEN A MATTRESS COVER ISSUED.
