I must give a huge shout-out to Nancy, she made my whole day with her lovely demeanor and she taught me so much about seaweed! I can’t wait to come back and see her next time!
Lovely shopping experience! We wandered in here while waiting for our table at a nearby restaurant and ended up buying quite a few things for ourselves and as gifts for others. A good stop for books, art prints, other gift items, and interesting seaweed treats and ingredients. If we had more time, I would have asked more questions but they also have signs giving info on different types of seaweed. We were lucky enough to stumble upon Heritage Seaweed where we encountered the most amazing person behind the counter. She was so sweet and welcoming to myself and a friend who had 4 young kids between us. She was knowledge about the products and engaged the kids in smelling tea and organizing spoons so my friend and I could shop. The products were all lovely but the woman working at the store made the experience so positive for us
Beautiful store with a mission the world needs: educating the world about products (love all of the locally sourced items!) healthy for humans and Mother Earth. I wish they had more in stock of some items after reviewing their website, but I’ll be keeping an eye on it for a couple of items I want but couldn’t get on my weekend trip.
