I found this bank because of their rates, which were low for a mortgage loan at the time. Unfortunately, the low rates come with terrible service. On more than one occasion they have changed their escrow and not given me adequate notice which impacted my credit when I was paying the old rate. Their website is very hard to use and i still haven't found out how to enroll in auto pay so have to send it thru my own bank. They get rid of the auto loan payment portal. So you wire the monthly payment from your checking account. Instead of applying the payment to the auto loan they open a savings account for you without telling you. You find out when they come to repo your car saying you're in default. Not a single letter, email, call, nothing. So much for credit unions being decent...
Didn't go to Rykowski branch Friday night since they are open Saturday until 2.......NOT or at least not anymore. I work M-F 8:30 - 5:00. That gives me a 35 minute window on Friday for the entire week since I don't get into Wallkill til about 5:25. Guess they don't cater to working people.
I used to love this bank. I have been a customer for 30 years. It has now become a nightmare to deal with. I can't get into my online acct. when I called to complain the person answering didn't know what the problem was and then told me to call someone else. When I decided to go into the bank itself, they were closed in a Sat and Monday. Why ? It's not a holiday?? The past year has been terrible.
