First I would like to address the pros of this establishment. Heritage Elder Care was very professional at every level. We used them the first time to establish a Trust for my mother. Sadly, as her health declined, we engaged them to guide us through trying and convoluted Medicaid application process. Just FYI, the office is completely inaccessible unless you are able-bodied. Mom and I drove 100m round trip for a seminar, only to arrive and find there was no wheelchair access. Lots of stairs to get in. I have no idea whether their services are good; we won't be able to use them.

This event was quite long and real hard in the beginning gathering information etc. It was a lot more involved than I had anticipated. You should be prepared for this! It's a hard thing when you have to put a parent into a nursing home. But after going though all of the above and all the fighting and appeals Heather had to do with The Dept. of Public Welfare, it all worked out in the end. Heather finally got my mom approved! We are just finishing up our estate planning with Jeffrey Banner. We would like to commend him for his professionalism throughout out this process.
