Everyone has room for improvement. I have no complaints about the care my mom was given.
Update 28th February 2024: When you have other aides complaining about the facility, what's there to complain about? Either improve, or implode. So go right ahead and file a complaint. How about addressing the unsafe resident ratios? How about addressing the fact that you have residents that are DIRECTLY under the care of nurses who happen to be relatives? Ethical conundrum. Man, I wanted to say good things about this facility, but I can't. This and the other Vetter Health Facilities are dismal, poorly upkept, and infested with bugs. This facility has a history of high attrition, nepotism, and toxic work culture. 70-80 percent of the facility are agency aides and Nurses, and the remaining amount do everything in their power to maintain the status quo. Putting a family member in a nursing home is not an easy decision. However, choosing the Heritage was a great decision for us and our family member. We know that he is in a caring and safe environment. We know that when we were unable to provide the needed care for him they are taking great care of him and meeting all of his needs.
