Best customer service in the Puyallup/South Hill area. They greet me with "Hi, Tom" and call me if an account is in danger of being overdrawn. In my four decades of running a business here, I've done business with with four other banks in this area; and this bank's service outshines the others. Jessica, Melissa, Trieu, Brendan, and Dani are extremely helpful, friendly people, far beyond what I've come to expect in businesses everywhere. Awesome customer service! Super competence and friendliness!
Today, I had an extremely unsettling experience at this bank. I went there to break a $100 bill for a loved one, as my online bank does not have a location in Puyallup. Upon entering, a woman, who I assumed was the bank manager, immediately approached me in a rather cold and dismissive manner. She informed me that the bank could not assist me unless I was a “loyal customer,” implying that I wasn’t a potential customer. I would have put zero if that was a choice apparently if your not a customer they don’t help you. Very bad banking decision to turn away potential customers I currently have accounts with 5 different banks I just happened to not be close to any and all I wanted was to break a hundred 🤬
You will not be helped if you don't belong. Simple as that.
