Read the QCC reports before you put your relatives here. It's cheap for a reason! I took my mother out after 24 hours in April 2020. Your relatives deserve high quality care. It's last full report was required improvement. I've worked in school where even 'good' was not really good all of the time. All care homes should be AT LEAST good to ensure safe and good care most of the time.
My mum was at Hereward and had the best of care. They were kind, caring and considerate. Despite the fact Mum was difficult (dementia) at times, they were fab.
If you're looking into whether moving a loved one into Herewards, look no further. My Mum was there for just shy of 2 years. She was a difficult patient (!), with dementia. But the staff there looked after her with patience, kindness, care, respect and high standards of professionalism no matter how she behaved. I can't thank them enough for their care.
This is the most disgusting worn out and dirty place that I would not send a sick dog to! Should be closed down for a completely refurbishment!
