Being a part of the Hereford Department I can honestly say I learned a lot and met some good people.
putting people in jail for what could EASILY be taken care of with a ticket Instead of having people pay bond fine probation fees Its ridiculous that probably 75% of Hereford is on probation Ask about HPD to any lawyer in Amarillo Lubbock etc you'll get same response "More corruption than they've ever seen" How can our town grow if we have the notoriety of "Go to Hereford on vacation & leave on Probation"!! Clean up officers attitudes & bullying methods Serve & Protect EVERYONE !!

I know it’s sometimes a thankless job but I want to thank each HPD Officer/employee for all you do. Each of you go above and beyond to serve and protect. Each of you put your life on the line to do the tough job you do. It’s easy for people to complain and bash law enforcement but those complaining the most would never have the courage to step up and put themselves in the hot seat.
