Great displays and informative and helpful staff!
Nice establishment, but the greeters did not say one word to us or other patrons. We were ignored despite having questions. The place is nice but the unwelcoming environment makes it uncomfortable and bland.
This educational center is really nice inside and has a lot of good information. Kind of hard to find and not really advertised anywhere on the island or online, but definitely a good place to bike to to start your hunt for pony viewpoints.

The official visitor center for the Chincoteague Natl Wildlife Refuge - would recommend this being the first stop when visiting. Terrific dioramas of the marsh and its inhabitants. Informative interpretive signs on the area's history and the efforts for conservation/preservation. Kid friendly! Great facility! Picnic tables. Souvenir shop. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms.
