I placed an order for my wedding gown in January 2025 after being measured by a sales associate at this boutique. At the time, my waist measured 29 inches. I bought a prom dress for $800 last month. The lady that helped me told me this dress is the “easiest material to alter” and that it “shouldn’t be a problem at all.” However after taking my dress to get the chest area taken in, I was told that there was nothing that they could do and they would have to take the entire dress apart to make that fix. Daughter found her dress but customer service could’ve been a lot better !
Seemed like some of the staff did not want to help anybody. And the ones that did help kind of left us on our own for a while. And then the person checking us out had a pretty bad attitude. And then we were told it would take twenty minutes for our dress to be ready and it took a little over an hour.
My mom and I visited the Henry’s Cloud Nine, Minerva location in order to find a prom dress. Upon entering the store we were met with overwhelming music and an enthusiastic environment yet a very disinterested sale representative. She asked for my name and why I was shopping with them. After going through the initial steps she placed me with a sales consultant who was very soft spoken and did not have much an opinion about my dress selection.
