Abuse
Daisy has been wonderful and extremely helpful with everything when it comes to my family members care. They go above and beyond.
The food is terrible. Also when they do have something other then sandwiches. they are not allowed seconds. my daughter is on medication that makes her hungry and it costs 100.00 out of our pockets to supplement her meals. Also they only have 1 washer and dryer that never works. so we have to pick up her clothes and wash them periodically. its very frustrating! the three stars in this review is because they have a wonderful staff and other then that my daughter really likes it there.
I had a loved one in Henderson House. I was a bit unsure at first because the facility is old and could use some updating. But it didn't take long to realize what a wonderful place this was. From the manager to the kitchen staff to the care techs. These people are angels. They go far above and beyond the call of their job. I found every person that works there to be kind, loving, and caring. They treat the residents like family.
