Hired through U-Haul. The spirit is chiding me because I had the money to pay for professional help, and I chose economy. Hired this company through U-Haul to just load my truck, that was it. Did all of the prep work packing boxes and wrapping furniture, taking care to mark my fragile boxes, those that needed to go a certain side up, or those that could not have anything set on top. The movers where an hour and a half late to start off, which was wildly inconvenient as I had a move out inspection scheduled with my complex that I had to rush to get the apartment ready once everything was out. Just being completely honest. I respect the fact that the owner is trying to make a living going into business for himself but it's the wrong business for him in my opinion, when it comes to moving people. He seems to be a hard worker but has poor people skills and people management in reference to his workers. Helping Hands Moving Is the Definition of a Scam — Avoid at All Costs This was, hands down, the worst experience I’ve ever had with any business. Helping Hands Moving should be shut down for the way they treat customers. Not only were my belongings damaged, but I was blatantly disrespected and called a liar by the OWNER—Mike.
