We get a lot of people who call and say their check engine light is on, what should they do? The first thing we ask is if they got gas recently and were they sure to click the cap on tightly. If you don’t turn it until it clicks, it will set a “small evap leak” code. If you drive away with the cap dangling (like I saw someone do yesterday) you will set a code for a “large evap leak.”

We are always asked what used car we recommend and this is absolutely one! Follow the link and contact Kuzak's Closet if you are interested. I'm sure it will go fast!

It's hot out there! Roll your windows down a little bit to let some heat out of your car as you turn your AC so you aren't forcing boiling hot air to be cooled - it's a tad more efficient...and turn off recirculate because the air outside is likely cooler than the air inside your car. Also, when you roll up or down your windows, don't hold the button down any longer than you need to because the additional tension on the window regulator can cause it to stretch and break prematurely and puts additional loads on the relays. Now go get some ice cream! 🍦☺️

Aw! Customer Ginny came by to thank us for helping her with her radio code so her radio and display worked again. She dropped off this sweet gift with a note that read, “Thank you so much for helping me to get my problem with entering the code in my radio solved. For all the years I have been coming to you, you have always gone the extra mile for me. I appreciate you so much!” We appreciate you, too, Ginny!
