777rdr sorry you had a bad experience at Helen Marine but I have been taking my boat for many years to there and have taken everything to there from my boat covers and tops to cushion. They are by far the best there is in that industry and Rene is a superb business owner. Also his son is there now giving him a hand and jobs are coming out even faster. stay way from this business.. I brought my bimini top to be remade... brought the old one so that they could reproduce it.... 3 weeks latter... supposed to have complete it in one week.... he tells me that he has all the materials ready... but cant find the bimini that I took to him.... I had called him early in the week to confirm a pick up day... and he acted like everything was under control.... what a irresponsible business owner this Rene guy is.... never again,,,,
I have done work here at Helen marine for many years. Rene is an honest man and does amazing work. his prices are reasonable and the work is done in no time. he even goes to you if you cannot take the boat to him I recommend Helen marine to anyone that asks me. this business truly is "the top of the boat tops"

I have been there many times. Have been going to Helen Marine since it was owned by Helen herself. Now it is still in the family and owned by her great nephew, had my cover done as promised and delivered on a timely basis. Delivered my boat on a Tuesday and picked up my cover by Thrusday. Great family business, hope it is open for many more years to come.Take your boat here you won't regret it.
The first time I was ever at Helen Marine It was run by the original owner I believe he was called "Chuchi" but he has retired and the business supposedly is now run by a nephew. Well, save your money and headaches and take your business elsewhere. The guys is a slacker, I left my boat to have the t-top canvas replaced on a Thursday it was promised by Friday and possibly later on that same day Thursday.
