Just completed a two day workshop with Helen shooting the waterfalls of Muskoka. Helen carefully planned the waterfalls we would visit based on the weather and lighting conditions. She took the time to find out what we wanted feedback on while participating and continually circulated among all of us in the group to gives us individual constructive feedback. I thoroughly enjoyed the Algonquin Backcountry workshop I attended with Helen Grose Photography. It was such a fabulous day out on the water in a remote area of Algonquin Provincial Park. One of the best days I have ever had out in the wilds of Algonquin and I even captured an award winning image too. I recently had the privilege of spending two days with Helen - one exploring Muskoka landscapes and a second concentrating on wildlife in Algonquin Park. Wow! I’ve attended sessions offered by other photographers across the country, and have never encountered anyone with Helen’s skill level. She is not only an exceptional photographer, but is also a talented communicator, animal behaviourist, and educator.
Helen is an amazing photographer. We are fortunate to know her as a friend and proud to showcase her photos in our home as well as our friends and family. It’s difficult to leave the gallery sometimes, as her pictures are so incredibly beautiful.
