I walked into Heirloom Furnishings LLC and immediately received a friendly welcome from a lady I later learned was the owner of the store. They have a nice collection of consignment items of a wide variety. The prices are quite reasonable and they have a nice selection.

Sellers Beware - This year I endured a series of terrible experiences with the owner and cannot recommend this establishment. Sellers bear responsibility for confirming the eventual purchase of their items and then collecting payment; the owner will not inform you when your item is sold. This is not unreasonable, but the owner twice told me that this is her policy because she “can’t possibly keep up with all the vendors.” As a business owner, it was a worrisome confession. Terrible experience. This woman is rude and unpleasant. We bought a few things from her, she did not so much as crack a smile and was unhelpful. Sat at her desk throughout. Didn’t ask if we were looking for something and every time we asked for the price she got more and more monosyllabic and indifferent in her responses. Her employee was exceedingly rude to my husband and she didn’t once apologize or stop him. Hate to say it, but If you’re not Caucasian you might not get much service.
