Heiko's assistant, Elizabeth Friesen, accepted $40 from my son for photographs of him and his girlfriend at Taste of Edmonton, and then proceeded to ghost him, refusing to respond to text messages and emails inquiring about the status of the photos. I attempted to email herself and was also ignored. (Can provide proof of all claims.) If the assistant can't be trusted, can the photographer?

Heiko is a true artist. He has this way of making you feel confident and comfortable while getting your photo taken, which is when you likely tend feel very vulnerable. I've used Heiko for multiple head shots and group photo's for my business. He works with our branding specialist to ensure the look and feel of our brand is portrayed in the shots so we can use them for website, print and social media. I had Heiko Ryll Studios do our headshots for our company as well as he did some short videos for our company. Both times were great experiences. Easy to work with and knew what to do to make us all look so good, something not always easily done. Love the video work that he did for us and was able to work with our schedule to get things accomplished. Will be using him again and again.
