They get "drug seekers" all the time. They have to be cautious and ask questions to avoid lawsuits. Everytime I was there I got first rate care. The patients complaining are probably the ones that turn around and sell the script on the street. Many patients don't take their medicine, nor follow the care givers instruction, then wonder why they feel bad. ENTITLEMENT IS ALIVE AND WELL.
i was recently in dr. heaver's office for a minor emergency, the day before the thanksgiving holidays, & was told i would have to come back the following week, because he was leaving early to go out of town for the holidays. if he knew he wasn't going to be there they could have called me to reschedule, but they didn't & i was very upset & will be looking for another doctor. i guess his "vacation" was more important then his patients. not professional at all, considering this is the 2nd time they did this to me.
dr. heaver-please learn time management! it's not acceptable to keep patients waiting in your lobby for over an hour, especially when i have other appt's & i have shown up on time! we realize emergencies happen & sometimes you run behind, but don't double & triple book appt's! get a competent staff or refer us to another doctor. the staff you have now is worthless. you can't or won't see it, but we do!
