My son has had Aplha-gal for two years, we ended up in the ER with hives over half his body, face swollen and eyes swollen shut and trouble breathing. Since then he has carried an Epi Pen everywhere, I do not cook any beef or pork and when we go out to eat we're very careful on ordering his food. I was diagnosed with alphagal a few years ago. I had heard about the acupuncture treatment, but was super skeptical. After one too many accidental exposures and reactions, I gave in to my wife's requests went to see Marci at Heavenly Mountain Acupuncture. Marci was very thorough, explained everything well. My husband had alpha gal for almost 10 years. It was so severe He always had to carry an EpiPen. When I first heard about Marcie’s treatment I was totally skeptical. But after one treatment, his reaction to alpha gal vanished. It’s been almost a year, and he continues to eat red meat with zero adverse reactions. It has changed his life and mine, too!
