We had to find a new home for our Mom when our Father passed away in 2024. Going to see the apartment we were so impressed. Nice large units, full kitchens even though they provide 3 meals a day. Even a small storage room. Bathroom with walk in shower, everything was made for Seniors. My siblings and I were very worried about moving our Mom as it was a lot to go through in a short time. The compassionate and trustworthy staff at Heaton Place have constructed a true seniors' community. The team perfectly balances independent and assisted living during a transitional period we all will experience. Residents may come and go as they please, cook for themselves, and entertain visitors as they would in any condo building. My parents have lived at Heaton Place for a year now. This is such a wonderful community. The staff is so caring and supportive and make the residents feel like family. The residents are also really supportive of each other and look out for one another. I worry so much less about them now that I know they are so well cared for. They are having the fun they deserve in this phase of their life.
Peace of mind. When using that term regarding a parent in care,…it sounds simple, easy. But consider. After my Dad passed away, Mom, in her mid 80’s, although living in a wonderful 40+ community, was desperately lonely. As family,…we had no peace of mind. We couldn’t start to compensate for our Mom’s losses, her absent friends. Heaton Place has been a wonderful place for my parents to reside these last 2 years. I feel Heaton Place is not a place for residents to die, but to thrive! The facility is clean, warm and friendly with staff who are focused and welcoming. Thanks for all that you do - Heaton Place!
