Heather did an excellent job with my wedding dress. I asked her to remove the train from the dress and it turned out just the way I wanted. She is detail oriented. Highly recommend to others.
Heather did a great job hemming and bustling my very pleated and drapey gown with quite a long train. Finishing was perfect, I never once doubted my decision to go with her! She is very detail oriented, and the (9 point!!) bustle as well as the stitching on the new hems was spot on, tidy, and indistinguishable from the finishing on the rest of the dress. A little on the pricey side (as someone who didn’t know what to expect) but I believe the price represents the quality of Heather’s work well.
I was recommended to Heather by my sister and a few friends who worked with her for their wedding dresses. I had lots of things to work on with Heather -the wedding dress my mother and grandmother (and two aunts!) wore was decaying in a box in her basement for about 30 years. It fit me pretty well but very demure (long sleeves, high neck). My mom said no one else will use it so make use of it! So we had an idea to alter it for me to wear to the rehearsal dinner night for my wedding. The process was so fun and educational - H... read more

I highly recommend Heather! I went specifically for my wedding dress alterations. She was the only person/business I contacted that reach back out to me. She was warm and welcoming during the initial consultation. I was considering a specific alteration but she was honest with me and said that it was not necessary. I really appreciated because other people/businesses may not have done the same. The entire experience and process was easy and stress free.
