My eyes were opened when my plein air group painted outside Heather's studio. I sat inside and watched her paint a large painting. Her large brush movements, few colors , and impressionistic subject pulled me in. As a water colorist I was frustrated in oil wksps. A ton of paints are placed across the palette. In the end I was mixing mud. Heather simplified this setting me up for success. Her advice was there when I needed it. She kept me going in the right direction. Heather produces dynamic paintings with lots of energy and pizazz. She is also a very knowledgeable instructor. I've taken her workshops and would highly recommend.
