Literally got bad vibes as soon as we walked in. Booked a room for one night, went to check in and then immediately said hell no. Here's why: 1. Smells like cigarettes and a hospital (FORESHADOWING) 2. No one was at the sketchy check-in counter. Called the bell- no one. Waited for about 10mins, then found a crappy note saying to call this number if no one was there 3. This is an ACTIVE cancer treatment facility! Their website is full of info on it; I feel so stupid for not seeing it but it's literally not highlighted at all ... read more
Very clean and has unique features like the massage chair, heaters, humidifier, slippers in the room. The dining room has hot and cold water station with fridge and microwave and the induction stove. We will come back again. Thank you to the hosts, they were very accommodating.
Amazing place to stay!!!
Staff were friendly but this place feels off. It’s clean and tucked into a quiet neighborhood, but the energy is that of a hospice care facility. There’s no music or ambiance, cameras down every corridor, no real way to cook food like a hostel I’d expect. They have a sauna and treadmill for $15 for 45 minutes, and although I know it was a converted post-cancer treatment center, it feels like nobody enjoys working there. It looks a little rundown from the outside but our room was sizeable and had everything we needed for a great price. The staff were super kind and helpful. There's a nice area to eat in with cutlery to use and they let us use a table to do a jigsaw puzzle for a couple hours. It's just a little ways out of downtown and a short walk to the resteraunts and grocery stores (though there is a hill).
