Westmoreland Pharmacy has been with Heartland since 2006. It's the only company our pharmacy has ever used for cc processing. We changed Merchant ID a couple years back due to my wife and I selling the company to our employees. Then last month our monthly fee increased by $47,000 out of the blue. Customer of 4 years, when cancelling the service due to high rates and fees they will add additional fees even after being with them the length of the contract. Will never do business with them again and would advise others to go elsewhere as well.
Long-time customer — deeply disappointed by billing and service issues. I was a Heartland customer for more than 10 years, operating two companies that used both their payroll and merchant services. One of my businesses closed in October 2024, and I properly cancelled both payroll and credit-card processing. Terrible company. Fees are too high. Fees are inconsistent, and from time to time they hit you with made up fees like the one I just got. $499 for “Technology Upgrade”. Basically a scam.
