I have called 22 times in 4 days and no one answers the phone. My mom takes herself to the bathroom, though she needs assistance. She dresses herself though she needs help. Her bed is always soaked because of incontinence. I strip it and put new linens on. They are known for therapy and that is it! I do not recommend the facility

I sure hope my grandmother is getting good care at this facility. I am rating this a 1 because of the front desk. This woman (I wish i had the pleasure of getting her name because i would have called her out) was so rude to my family and I today. This staff member has no compassion. We set off the alarm on the way in. We are new to the place and I apologized. She threw a fit because she could not get it to turn off. I apologized for the second time. My younger sister was placed here after having the first leg amputated. She was 44 years old, a kidney dialysis patient, due to lupus. After being there for a couple of weeks, she was hospitalized for 2 days due to lupus troubles. When it was time to release her, this nursing home would not accept her back. I was told by the female Director there that my sister was "too much work". Yes, exactly what I was told, and I wouldn't recommend this place. Discrimination should not be tolerated.

My mother is currently at Heartland for rehab. The care given to her is excellent. Very compassionate, professional and caring staff. Mary, Director of Admissions, is truly an asset at Heartland. She made my mother's transition from the hospital to Heartland run smoothly and continues to be involved in every aspect of her care. I can call anytime of day or night and everyone goes out of their way to answer my questions and give me updates.
