So far so good, the nurses and staff are very concern. I think my Mom is in a good place right now. she has to learn to walk again and use her body, the therapy sessions are excellent. It is important to have family support, to make sure she is clean and question any concerns you may have. The rooms are very small but all she need is a bed, it depends on your outlook. My mom does not eat much, so my dad eats her lunch, he say's it taste pretty good. All we can say for now is so far so good, if anything changes. I'll be back

Heartland GPW, Therapy people great, some aids ok rns awful. I feel like i am in prison. Had a huge issue w/a rn who was very mean rude and nasty to me when i first got here. Aids Deshonna and calvin were awesome. Food terriblenot suitable for a dog. Would not recommended that place for anyone. Try the one at Utica and Schoenherr. Newer, nicer and nicer people. Trust me, i was here fir 2 weeks. Hated every minute of it. Dirty too

Physical therapy services are excellent, Communication between nursing shifts was below average.When I called to speak to a nursing supervisor, she transferred me to the nurse.Communication with her primary care physician did not happen and orders that were faxed to the facility by him were never put into place. Communication between social services and family was horrible! I have 6 pages of complaints against Heartland of Canton. For my wife's stay there, we informed them that she is allergic to lactose, rice, pork and turkey. Also that she has no teeth and can only eat soft foods. Guess what? They continued to feed her the items she is allergic to, served crispy hard foods that she can't eat, and it was cold! Coffee was cold, soft drinks and water HOT. They really have it backwards! I had to bring her food from home so that she didn't starve while there. I had back surgery and they sent me here afterwords. I spent two weeks here and the physical therapy rehabilitation was great, without it I would have went home not knowing what to do. All the staff were very nice to me! I can't remember all their names sorry. The food was good although there were some things I did not care for. The place is clean, they have alot of extra things to do during the day, games etc, and a couple of dogs that stop by twice a week. All in all it worked for me!

My father was recently a patient at Woodward Hills. In this day and age we rarely hear good things about nursing homes. As a physician, I am constantly told by patients and their families how terrible things are at those facilities and quite frankly I was worried when my dad was admitted there. But I have to say that I can only say wonderful things about his stay.
