I had a good visit with a banker today as I set up a debit card on my new business account.
BEWARE!!!! If I could give this bank 0 stars, I would. We were given incorrect information by an employee, multiple times in writing, and that information ended up costing us so much in the end. The bank will not do anything to resolve the issue (and we aren't asking for much of anything)! I have reported it to the BBB and will have to seek legal help if I want them to be held accountable. Heartland Bank & Trust is a worthless institution. The whole point of banking is to put my money somewhere safe and make it grow. I saved thousands there for years and their interest rate sucks. You can easily find a better bank online paying 3-5% interest with better customer service as opposed to less than 0.5% interest with Heartland. I didn’t make hardly anything off of it. Review written 10/25/2024. I appreciate this locations’s drive thru hours during the week opening at 8:30am, opposed to the 9am of the Urbana Heartland Bank.
