If you are looking for a facility that would provide any medical care, this would not be one to consider. Nursing is neglectful and does not follow through with physician orders. Dietary is not equipped for special needs as my brother lost 30# during his stay. After returning from the hospital with acute hypoxia, he was not provided oxygen and lay on his floor overnight, not checked on until later morning. Inexcusable! Needless to say, he has since passed. Due diligence! I’m sorry I trusted Oasis referral!
Thank you for taking such good care of our loved one. She loved all the activities and bingo twice a week. The facility is clean and beautiful, doesn’t look like an assisted living, that’s what drew me to it.Staff is good, whenever I had a question, they answered in a timely fashion. When we moved our loved one in, I had looked at many different places and discovery commons by far exceeded the expectations. Keep up the good work!
In addition to being a beautiful building with a robust activity program for ALL residents, the staff at Discovery Commons is compassionate, professional and pay great attention to detail. Everyone from maintenence, food service, to the caregivers treat the residents with respect and excellent care. I would highly recommend.
I cannot say enough great things about the team at Discovery Commons Brookfield. The value placed on a quality lifestyle is top-notch. From their beautiful apartments, to cares, to the dining experience, and to their robust activities program, it is all geared around creating the best lifestyle for our seniors who have physical and cognitive limitations. They say you can’t make all the people happy all the time, but Katie and her team may be the exception to the rule. It’s a beautiful building, but the magic inside is a reflection of the people who make it special each and every day.
