I am a former in-home caregiver for a current resident at Heartis Suwanee, and I’ve had the pleasure of visiting many times. It brings me so much joy to see that she is thriving in her new environment. The memory care department is vibrant and keeps residents actively engaged. The staff is not only professional but also warm, friendly, and always welcoming to visitors. I’m truly grateful for the care and community Heartis Suwanee provides.

I DO NOT recommend Heartis Suwanee. My mom lived in Assisted Living there for almost 10 months, until we all couldn't take it anymore and pulled her out. It feels like no one is in charge there. There is no "energy" when you walk in the door. I don't think anyone in leadership has been there longer than 6 months. There have been 3 or 4 Exec. Directors since we arrived. Would give zero stars if possible. Memory Care is a disgrace, untrained employees, horrible and dishonest management from local all the way to corporate in California and apparently a very high turnover. We had to get an ombudsman from Health and Human Services and it turns out that they are called out there quite frequently. A beatiful building does not mean good care. Avoid this memory care like the plague! Legal advice was very interesting....

Heartis is a beautiful facility but the management is terrible. We paid a large deposit for my mother-in-law to move into their assisted living, only to find out almost two weeks later that they would not take her due to a recent shortage in caregiver staff in assisted living and concerns that they could not take on another high level of care patient.
