Heartfelt grew out of a series of successful Insight Service Trainings in the 1980s. Virtually everything is run by volunteers. Ever since for 35 years they have been doing several annual large service projects mostly around major holidays, targeted at underserved populations in downtown LA and on the Eastside. Heartfelt is also a large network of service-oriented volunteers worth knowing about.
