The company reached out, apologized, refunded the unsatisfactory shoes, and sent a complimentary pair. Online order delivery of dirty shoes in a damaged box causes retired senior citizen Heartbreak!!! Today my first (and only) online order from Heartbreak Hill Running Company arrived. I ordered two NEW pairs of New Balance Running Shoes. Upon opening the delivery boxes, one pair had a mangled box with clearly dirty, USED soles that had apparently been tried on many times, or returned, based on the dirty soles. I have bought three sets of running shoes at the Newton location, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They go out of their way to help you out, I would never go anywhere else.
Was looking for some new training shoes for the gym and wanted to get a feel for different brands and styles since I have flatter feet. Walked in and was assisted by Finn who was really friendly and knowledgable, he got me set up with each brand in my size and after seemingly trying on every sneaker in the store without any complaints from Finn I left with a pair of On Cloudrunners which have been awesome. Definitely swing by if you are looking to get a feel for different brands and styles. Highly recommend!
