Left ear is giving me grief so I called about getting a cleaning (thought it was the issue) Brian checked it out quickly and said it was all clear of wax and the itching could be from a infection. I also hit myself in the ear trying to get the itching to stop and he noticed a red spot on my eardrum so he did a eardrum test on both ears with a high tech reader and explained the results and what precautions I need to take if I do have a infection and now a hole in the ear drum. Seems really knowledgeable and polite.
It is 10 months now my husband has been waiting for his replacement hearing aids. No straight answers when asked what the hold up is. WSIB says they are waiting on proper form to be filled out correctly and actually had to walk the worker through the form over the phone in Fall 2023. Went in to Hearling Life in February (7 month mark) and was assured they were going to call WSIB...as always we haven't heard back and we are now April. Been waiting since July 2023. Really attentive and involved staff.. super caring and accommodating, which makes all the difference in the world.. dealing with something like progressive hearing loss..especially as a working musician, is hard enough.. and so dealing with such a caring place and it's staff can make the biggest difference in your safe t y and confidence.. My dad got his hearing aids here. When I had to deal with them on his behalf, found them incredibly helpful. And I know that when he switched to nexgen our conversations were a lot easier, so the product seems good!
