i called several years ago, theses lawyers helped me gt my SSI claim through the first try, i recieved payments from the time oi applied. i don't know why there are negative comments from some others because ythis firm handled everything for me and answred every call i made. absolutely recommend them...
If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would. They don't stay in contact with you and they don't help with anything. I had an important letter coming from SS and they never gave me a heads up as to what was going on and from the tone of the lady at SS it sounded like they put up with this from them all the time. Pitiful that we put our lives in their hands and my letter I got was pass the deadline when I got it in the mail but do you think they called and said hey did you get that letter? Don't do heard and smith scum bag attorneys
Horrible and disorganized! The one thing they were suppose to do, get my medical records to the judge before the hearing, was not done. I called them twice and was told they had the reords up to date. I got to the hearing and was informed by my so called attorney that they were missing the last 15 months of records!Thank god I took it upon myself to get records sent to me and I brought them along "just in case". I was having trouble with contact, I wrote a less than favorable review. I almost immediately received a phone call from one of the lawyers. He was very helpful and made every attempt to put me at ease against the negative reviews that have been written and with the experience I had been having in the past. He assured me they have made changes and so my hearing is coming up soon and I am putting my faith in this firm. These reviews have been so helpful. My father in law recently hired them and was given attitude and told they would call him. All he did was ask for assistance with paperwork he was sent...Someone's getting fired!!!
Heard and Smith took cre of my case fast. Kept me informed and I spoke to my attorney on an ask for basis. I never had to do any paper work or anything. They were kind compassionate and understanding at my hearing. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Heard and Smith.
