This company makes one-of-a-kind, all natural oat and coconut based energy bars. I first came across these bars many years ago at a local coffee shop when they were known as California Suncakes and Heart Thrives. They were part of my standard order whenever I visited the coffee shop in the pre-pandemic days. These are my FAVORITE bars! I feel good about about eating them and great about supporting a company dedicated to providing healthy gift quality food. They are great for any sort of pre activity snack, I never feel over full but feel fully energized!
I have been a loyal customer for almost 25 years! From the round hockey puck looking "suncakes" packaged in plastic wrap to the perfect size breakfast hearts, the product has never disappointed! Customer service is always excellent and the oat bars are fabulous!
Back in May I had posted on here my frustration with this brand, since the products were tasty and had the nutritional characteristics I was looking for but 1) got moldy after about 2 months and 2) their customer service was non-existent (no response to multiple emails on 2 separate topics). The company has since hired a brand manager/customer service employee who responded to my posts here and on Facebook and has also been responsive via email. I love California Suncakes, but am appalled by the cost of shipping . . . $12.00 to ship 1/2 dozen Suncakes is ridiculous. it's priced me right out of the market. Christina M.
