Carla is an exceptional practitioner and human. Her compassionate and calming nature helped me get through a difficult time. Her knowledge, patience, and professionalism is unmatched and she went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable through every visit. I cannot recommend her strongly enough.
After months of chronic lower back & leg pain finally found relief. Dr. Mark Corkin is amazing. He takes time to understand the issues, fully explains the treatment & answers any question with detailed explanations. Carla, his wife & acupuncturist is just as competent & thorough. Highly recommend Healthworks for relatively rapid & lasting relief.
First, just walking into the building and hearing the calm and peaceful music was wonderful and instantly helped me to relax. I'd been having some pain that was probably related to stress on some level (what isn't??), so the atmosphere of Healthworks was just what I needed. The acupuncture treatments were great! Just want to congratulate Carla today on the Healthworks opening. She's an excellent acupuncturist and It's been a dream of hers for years to own a small clinic. She's created a quiet, calm, positive place to help people get back their health without worrying about financial or emotional stress. She's done a remarkable job! Carla is very friendly and knowledgeable! She was able to relieve muscle knots in my face that no other acupuncturist, physical therapist, or TMJ specialist did! Her office is cozy and inviting, peaceful as soon as I walked in. I cannot recommend Healthworks enough.
