A clinical peer from Healthcare Strategies, Inc reviewed a request for inpatient care for my wife after her knee replacement surgery. Despite my wife being a fall risk after the operation due to falling three times the clinical peer denied inpatient care and my wife was released from the hospital. Being weak from her operation and hospital stay, she fell again upon her arrival home. Luckily no damage to her knee seems to have occurred.
