I wanna start with my conditions of both damaged knees needing replacement recommended from 3 Orthopedic Doctors, also lower back L4L5 ruptured disk. I have been seeing Dr. Lara for over a year now for chronic back pain and fibromyalgia. She is very receptive to the human body and is an excellent acupuncturist. I feel so much better after my session with her and I don't need the pain meds for my back pain for about a week to 10 days. I still find it amazing how she can press on certain parts of my feet and arms to specifically locate the origin of my back pain. She is the 3rd acupuncturist that I have been to and she is definitely the best one.

I was referred to Dr Lara from my Podiatrists. I do not want more steroid shots-which in turns damages your bones in future. I have plantar fasciitis in left foot-very bad. Was able to see Dr Lara right away. She is very professional, understanding and very clean relaxing office. She listened to me and took time to find my pain. She even texted me later on the day to check on me. Plus also helping me with my stress. My body is a mess and I'd rater not take pills. I have to pay out of pocket, but so very worth it. Just had my first appointment. Excellent experience! Clean and relaxing environment, but most importantly, the doctor listened to my requests,then proceeded to place the needles appropriately, making sure that I was comfortable and checking regularly for progress. As this was my first time having acupuncture, I didn't know what to expect, but was surprised and happy to feel my pain melt away! I will make this a regular component of my personal healthcare!

I have been getting acupuncture for six years now. Nanette is very very good and she listens to me and knows exactly how to treat my pain. Very relaxing music. The best part about it all is that I can still work. My pain is very severe and this helps me so much. I do not take any pain medication and acupuncture gave me hope.
