I was referred to Healing Hands and Bodywork by nurse Tegan Guilfoyle from the Boston Lymphatic Center at Beth Israel, Boston. I needed a good lymphatic massage and I found so much more than that. I have been blessed to have had general massages and lymphatic massages in many different countries and from highly trained therapists from Thailand, Colombia, Brazil. I took Edward’s three day Breast Cancer Massage training, and it was worth every penny. The course was comprehensive, normalized working on areas that are traditionally omitted when practicing bodywork, and there was a ton of individual attention. It’s given me the confidence and knowledge required to start offering this much needed service, and has already had a meaningful and positive effect on my practice. Highly recommended.
Updated review (last review equally as positive): I recently had a wonderful massage with Edward. His customized massage work has made a huge difference for me, not only relieving general pain and soreness, but also significantly improving my sciatic nerve pain. This was the most profound experience in massage that ive had. Ive been a massage therapist for over 20 years. After doing a lot of research and waiting for the right time I finally went to see Edward yesterday and I am beyond happy to have found him! If you have the opportunity to do this it is a beautiful and fulfilling experience. I have had 4 cancers, so for me this was a real self care decision. Edward was absolutely amazing in every way, lomi lomi massage is a heart, body and spirit experience, and unlike anything else. I still have the feeling of peace a day later and feel like I will hold onto a long time. Thank you Edward!
