I was nervous and put off booking an appointment at Healing Colonics, but my friend told me how the owner Amanda was really friendly, she immediately put me at ease and told me my privacy would be maintained. I live far away but because they have weekend hours, I was able to book same day! This is the first time I have had a colonic with an open system. I found it comfortable. Not explosive. The Libbe was easy to enter and exit from.
Amanda is very personable, welcoming, and warm—she knows how to put you at ease during what might be an awkward service for a lot of people, especially if it is your first time. Her space is clean, lends to privacy, and she offers various things for maximum comfort (heating pad, belly massager, blankets)…every detail is taken care of. If you need a good clean out, look no further than Healing Colonics. I have been to another highly rated colonic clinic in Boulder, and it was fine, but I prefer coming here. Amanda is a gem.
Comfortable, Easy and Calm is how I would describe my experience. I went in to obtain a treatment to aid in preparation for a colonoscopy. I wasn't looking forward to ingesting a ton of laxatives and being miserable all day and night. I went in around 1pm and got a colonics treatment. I appreciated the reassurance I received and how calm I felt. Everything was thought of from sanitation, to keeping you warm with blankets and heating pads to the tummy massager that really helped me release cramping. I felt very taken care of.... read more
