Great home own grocery store! In the midst of all the huge grocery store chains is Hays, a locally owned grocery store. This store carries just about everthing. If there is something special you want, they will try to get it for you. If you live in the Johnstown or Berthoud areas, you really have to give Hays a try instead of King Soopers, Safeway or Albertson's.
Small-town market with outstanding customer service Granted, this is not a huge grocer that offers some of the lower prices of the larger stores, but they do have everything you need along with wonderful customer service. It is very rare to find a grocery store with clerks that will take your groceries out to the car for you! They are also expanding, so I am interested to see the new addition.
Quiet and close! I love this store. It reminds me of the small town grocery stores of my childhood. The selection is a bit limited and a bit pricier than the chain stores, but the quiet shopping atmosphere is worth the expense! Love it! PROS: Quaint! CONS:
