I’m extremely disappointed with the transportation department at Hays. My experience has been frustrating and honestly concerning, especially when it comes to how parents and children are treated. Elizabeth Jiles was very rude and unprofessional during our phone conversation. The tone she used felt disrespectful, as if she was speaking down to me instead of addressing a concerned parent. Doesn't get much worse than this... The lack of concern for the children's safety is on an epic level. The disregard for the children's lives is sad. I'm surprised their death toll is not higher. The lack of concern for children is neighborhoods that have no sidewalks or street lights is unexcusable. Small elementary children walking down the road while it's dark with no where to walk except the road is so unsafe.
