The staff are great, the management is horrible. Surly, entitled, condescending and unable to be reached by mere mortals, they couldn't care less about the outcomes. Until billing time. They're all over that. Find another provider if you can, unless you have a relative that works there.
I would elaborate, but it's not worth the time or energy.
Do NOT let your loved ones stay there. The nursing staff may be good, but the management is terrible, borderline incompetent. You can never reach any on them for status updates or what they do with patients. I have an elderly parent there for rehab and recovery and can never get any communication. Left multiple messages with multiple staff and even the director and no one responds. This despite having Power of attorney AND being the primary health surrogate. My mom was a patient at Hawthorne Village of Brandon they facilitate on is clean and well kept and present very nice staff present to be nice and welcoming but when you leave they treat your family like trash.. My mom was only their for rehab but the put her in a room where she had bo acres to any one the where under staffed she lost 100lb in 3 weeks they did not give he any fluid and my mom said the food was trash and I had to bring food for her with in three week my mom ended up in the hospital severely dehydrated to the p... read more
