We went there when my daughters dance class did a performance, lovely place. Considered asking if they would make an age exception and take me in. Looking forward to getting old!
This is a 2 year update! Now that Covid is no longer a pandemic threat, Hawthorn has weathered the storm and remains vigilant to protect their residents. Our opinion of Hawthorn remains the same as this original review! All concerns are dealt with quickly and with consistent compassion. Excellent care, people are wonderful, well managed but food quality only 3*.
Hawthorn has a positive and friendly vibe. The staff are always open and helpful; they are responsive to requests and take the initiative to convey any concerns they may have about our loved one. The atmosphere created by staff at Hawthorn is reflected in their residents - people are friendly and seem to mingle well. The activities arranged by staff are creative - there always seems to be a few things Dad joins in on. It’s a great place.
