Can't say paying taxes is my favorite thing to do but I can say the staff at the Hawkins County Tax Assessor's office are a very pleasant and helpful team. I imagine they encounter a vast variety of circumstances, yet greet each with a smile and the gift of kindness & respect.
This office has always been helpful and friendly over the past four years that we have lived in Hawkins County! It’s nice to find a group of people who seem to love their job, are excellent with the public, and greet you with a smile!
I know that no one likes to pay their taxes but they are very friendly and helpful in this office. Being new land owners in Hawkins county I had many questions. They were very pleasant, answered all my questions, without getting annoyed at me.
