Before you open an account at Hilo hawaii location make sure that you always have money on your account, this credit union LOVE to charge you with overdraft fees, Last night I went to deposit my money so I don't get overdraft, guess what the ATM was close , so next business day I went there and ask the Supervisor to help me with that , since, night before I was not able to deposit bc the ATM was close for the members ,the credit union Supervisor he told me, that he can do anything about it , so I ended closing the freaking a... read more
I used this branch a few times to withdraw cash while I was in Hilo for business. Each time, the people I encountered were friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Breanne G. who sent me home with candy for my children who were missing out on trick or treating with their friends. I love when I get to interact with genuinely kind people. My new favorite bank! I am not a member but visited this branch bc it is a sister branch to my credit union on the mainland.

There's always barely anyone there all the time! Not sure at times if I should stay or go somewhere else. The only reason why I stay is because they sell a lot of goodies that I do help out & purchase. Also, Irish has been very friendly & work hard to achieve where he's at! Otherwise, ugh! I miss seeing him when he's not there. Always filling elsewhere when their short staffed.
