My sister has lived in the skilled nursing portion of Haven Homes for three years now and she absolutely loves it there; the staff is exceptionally caring and fellow residents have become close friends. The food is good, there are always plenty of in-house activities, and now fundraising efforts are underway to buy a bus to make excursions and field trips possible. Highly recommend!
I couldn’t agree more with the other reviewer, Sharon Johnson. Lovely facility on the outside, but the Social Services department leaves a lot to be desired. My 87 yo mom was there for rehab. She had Parkinson’s and early onset dementia. This lead her to be a frequent guest at 7 rehab facilities in 3 years. She fell a lot! Needless to say, I am very familiar with the how these places work. About 2 -1/2 weeks into her stay, the Social worker informed me that my mom would need to be in a skilled nursing facility and that they ... read more
