My recent experience with Hatteras Island Ferry was incredibly frustrating due to their disorganized vehicle traffic management. Staff seemed to randomly pick and choose lanes, with no organized timing or structure. This lack of organization caused significant delays and stress. They urgently need to implement a proper, structured system. Been here since 10 said it would be 12 and still haven’t boarded.
The Ferry was very convenient and on time. Was a bit frustrating that the ship was ahead of schedule and unloaded the prior transport, but the crew waited until the exact minute on the schedule to let us board. But overall no complaints.
So convient to get over to the island of Ocracoke. It is so peaceful over there. I go look for shells on the beaches. We ho fishing. Just Love this island.
